LCT Energy, LP was established in 2009 and is headquartered in Johnstown, PA. The LCT team produces some of the highest quality metallurgical coal in the industry. Our coal is valued by both domestic and international customers as a key component in the production of steel. Safety and compliance are core to all our operations. LCT’s priority is providing a safe work environment for our 177+ employees; going above and beyond to achieve our goal of exceeding expectations and to comply with all laws and regulations.
LCT currently operates two PA underground coal mines: Rustic Ridge in Donegal and Maple Springs in Jerome. Rustic Ridge produces high quality mid-vol coking coal while Maple Springs produces high quality low-vol coking coal. LCT also has an extensive portfolio of premium quality reserves which provides the platform to be a long term strategic partner to steel producers.
